Georgia-Pacific Corp., Atlanta, GA, which was recently purchased by Koch In­dustries, has put a new senior leadership team in place. Among the new leaders is Bill Caffey, who will serve as executive vice president, operations and compliance. The company’s operations and compliance group includes the following functions reporting to Mr. Caffey: North American consumer products, paper and pulp manufacturing; compliance; engineering; procurement; operations excellence and the Manufacturing Excellence Council.

Jim Hannan has been appointed executive vice president, chief administrative officer. Mr. Hannan has been with Koch companies for seven  years. He has served as the president of Invista Intermediates, chief financial officer of Koch Mineral Services and controller and accountant.    

In another change, Julie Brehm will take on the role of senior vice president, human resources. Ms. Brehm has been with Koch companies since 1983.

Additionally, Tye Darland will serve as senior vice president, general counsel. Mr. Darland joined Koch Industries in 1993. He formerly served as general counsel for Koch Industries and was previously on the boards of Invista B.V. and Koch Cellulose.

Philip Ellen­der has been named senior vice president, government and public affairs. Mr. Ellender has been with Koch companies for nine years. He has served as the vice president of government affairs, communications and public affairs for Invista; and directed government and public affairs in the southern U.S. for Koch.

Mark Luetters has become senior vice president, supply and trading, fiber and energy. Mr. Luetters has been with Koch Industries for 16 years. Formerly, he was executive vice president of trading for Koch Carbon and held a variety of engineering and business development positions.

David Park has been appointed senior vice president, strategy and business development. Mr. Park previously served as managing director of corporate development for Koch, the chief financial officer of Koch Canada and the president of Koch Exploration Canada. He currently serves on the board of Koch Cellulose.

Following are the senior business unit leaders and configurations, effective immediately: Mike Burandt, executive vice president, North American consumer products; Steve Klinger, executive vice president, packaging; Dave Paterson, executive vice president, building products and Bill Schultz, president—international consumer products.
